Hey  well I've not got much to update apart from the fact if I get any fatter I might cry! I swear they've been hiding but now we know about them their like HELLO!! and making it very well known their there lol! On the plus side though we think we've settled on names (although it'll probably change again in a month haha) We're thinking if it's a girl Lilly Gina McArthur (Gina after my mum and Lilly's Wilsons gramdma's name) Or if it's a bot we're thinking Thomas Jon McArthur after his dad and Thomas after my dad What you think? Perfect!!!! Talk about fully loaded Jovi names!!!! You got Tommy & Gina ;D Jon  And David's daughter's name!!! |

Hahaha I never knew Lilly was dave's kid name wow small world lol, yeah wilson realized jovi had to get in there cause he really wants our parents names in the baby's name. And concidering the fact their parents met at a jovi concert and one set of grandparents is called Tommy and Gina this baby needs a bit of jovi in their life! Haha

Hahaha I never knew Lilly was dave's kid name wow small world lol, yeah wilson realized jovi had to get in there cause he really wants our parents names in the baby's name. And concidering the fact their parents met at a jovi concert and one set of grandparents is called Tommy and Gina this baby needs a bit of jovi in their life! Haha Well, at least he finally saw the need for Jovi, especially with those connections! |

Hahaha I know right he's finally accepted that this lil ones a jovi baby, cause if it wasn't for them then we wouldn't be married lol, I think he was just scared I was going to call the baby jovi or Bon haha

First of all Congrats!!! and second beautiful names and so perfect - I tried when I was pregnant with Zack to get Something with Jon or Richie 0r David but he was like no way nothing Jovi roflmao a bit jealous much I think.

Haha aw thank you yeah it's just total luck on my behalf that our parents are called what they are just very good luck on my behalf, we're pretty certain it's going to be Thomas Jon and Lilly Gina gaurentee they'll be born and we'll choose something co Completely different lol |

Well that's me finally home from brazil thank god it was hellish! Got 5 days home then off to thialand for 2 weeks, I swear maternity leave can't come soon enough!! What I was wondering though and I dono if its just superstitions or what is coffee really that bad for the baby? Cause I NEED my coffee haha without it I'm a pretty scary lady. Lol I know it probably tells you this in all te pregnancy books and if id had a chance to read one I'd know, anyone else drink coffee while pregnant? |

Caffeine more than coffee in general, I think. But I know one of my friends (a coffee fanatic who thinks coffee is a food group) was told not to cut out the caffeine suddenly either so she had to cut down slowly. But Bayaderra's the professional around here, so I'm sure she'll answer this more reliably than I can. LOL.

Nearly everything is OK during pregnancy. The key is moderation! As far as coffee goes, keep it to no more then 2 cups a day and you and baby will be fine! The big NO NO is unpasturized milk products, deli meats and soft cheese, undercooked meat and raw fish. Yes it means no sushi! Limit tuna and fish too! And check with your care provider before taking ANY medications or having X-rays.
And most importantly: ENJOY the pregnancy!

Thanks for the advice Elena you'll be glad to know that I'm not as obsessed with coffee anymore and it's sadly now decaf tea/coffee (Wilsons forcing it on me lol) on the other hand we aren't really speaking at the moment so it's fine I can drink as much coffee as I want haha, do you think it's unreasonable to want to have our baby in britain? I don't think I'm being unreasonable wanting to have my baby with my mum around

No, not unreasonable at all...however, can he get the time off work/afford to take the time off work to spend up to a couple of months there too (possibly a month or more before since you won't be able to travel after a certain point, plus time after to bond with the baby)? Maybe he's worried about money (there will be another mouth to feed/clothe/diaper after all) or that he'll miss the birth/bonding time if he can't stay there with you the entire time. Could/would your mum come to you instead?
So...when the thread started you were about 13 weeks, right? So you've made it half-way through by now, right? Whooohooo! I loved that point in my pregnancies - they're big enough to feel the kicks, morning sickness (usually) was gone...I hope it's going well for you!
