Another WOW. Got home at 1:30 am and up at 4:30 am for work. I have slept only about 2 hours as I couldn't get to sleep last night. It sounded like I had crickets in my ears. Been to work and now back home and I can hear my bed calling -- I am getting too old for gallivanting around the country side at all hours of the night
I love the arena we have here in Sydney. Its clean, its dry, and it has great sound. I thought it held about 20,000 people but Jon said there were 18,000 of us in the audience so I guess that's all it holds, but anyway the show was wonderful.
I don't think the crowd were as rowdy as Melbourne. Jon really had to work at it to get them to respond.
Although my sons and I made up for the quiet ones there.
Song choices were once again exceptional, a great blend of old and new, some of the soft soppy ones - bed of roses was brilliant.
Richie once again performed faultlessly. - These days. I would have liked him to do 'I'll be there for you' again but These days was still impressive.
There were about 7 soul shirts that I counted last night. And there was one signed.
Jon jumps around that stage like a teenager, working the women up into a frenzy. But its pretty obvious he enjoys the attention. And to be honest I think we do too. But I never noticed how cheeky he was before. He really is a flirt and him and Richie together would be a lethal team.
I don't know how he does it night after night. I am exhausted!!! And I still have one more to go. I didn't manage to get decent tickets off eBay for the show tonight. They are all gone except for a few right up the back on the floor, and I would never see from there I am only 5 ft 2.5
I need to go and get some chores done and my Bag packed. I fly out to Perth in the morning. In preparation for the last concert on Friday night.
