I recommend...

P.C. and Kristin Cast - they have this series of books called House of Night
(http://www.houseofnightseries.com/) so far 7 books starting with Marked and its a vampire series but with a completely new twist. Its a mother daughter author pair first of all which gives it a odd sort of twist but the other thing is - they take you into a school where they teach normal everyday teenagers that magically get a mark on their foreheads how to be vampires. Its a pretty young read though so don't expect the vocabulary and sex scenes we write here but do expect to get drawn into their world.

If you like Historical Romances. I recommend Rosanne Bittner-who wrote as F. Rosanne Bittner in her earlier days. I've read her for 25 years and anxiously await each new book.

Some of her best are:

Savage Destiny Series-Six books detailing the lives of Zeke and Abby Monroe and family.

She has written others through the years. All are very interesting and she researches all her stories so they are factual.

I also read Johanna Lindsey. I love her books that take place in England. My favorites of hers is the Mallory series.

Here is another author I highly recommend her name is Gena Showalter she has several series but the two I love the best are the Lords of the Underworld series about a group of warriors that is cursed for opening pandora's box awesome series

and the other is The Atlantis Series

All these warriors living in Atlantis so if you like mythology this series is for you

Nora Roberts and Debbie Mccomber are two writers you do not start to read after 6pm. The reason being you can't put the books down till the last page is turned.

I read all the Harry Potter series, but just can't get into Twilight and New Moon. After reading Potter it's hard to get back into a series book.

This December I have read all the romance Christmas books. Having a hard time with a Cowboy Christmas. Not really into ths book for some reason. I m reading harliquines more now than I did when I was younger. I love things that take me away from every day life. Used to be with Barbara Cartland and Regency Romance, but now that i am older I love some of the newer romance writers. Paranormal books are gettng more and more easier to find. Just picked up a new one tomight in a series that I have been reading now for 5 years.

Lynsay Sands new book in the Argeneau Series Tall Dark and Hungry. My Christmas day reading.

It's funny when I was in school I had reading tutors and took reading improvement...took taking reading improvement in college to teach me how to take a reading appitude test.

Now i love to read. Always have a book in my purce and last trip in May I read 6 books in three days and I was in Reno people with all those slot machines and I had to take a cab to the mall to buy books! LOL
