Hey just a thought, does anyone on the board have any new years eve traditions they do - if you do what's the meaning? Is it a family thing? Something you started to call it your own??
I have 2.
1.) Burn the calendar of the year that's leaving. I'm starting that this year because it was the worst year of my life, but I have heard from a wiccan that its actually a cleansing thing to do to burn out the bad from your life. -I do recommend however, making sure you're safe about doing this of course:)
2.) I started this one about 10 yrs ago and have done it every since. Make sure you have as much cash as you can in your pockets or on your person when the clock strikes midnight. I had a financially rough year one year and heard from a friend while living in AZ that what you have a midnight your likely to have all year. I think they were talking about something else entirely but I converted it. Now my theory is if you have money when the year starts you'll have it all year. Believe it or not its worked every year, and I'm going to continue it. Its always cash though not credit cards - don't want to make those bills go up more.
So anyone else want to share yours??
