Some fans arrived Friday night and camped out for the tickets. Bon Jovi will perform on Gulf Shores Beach on Friday, Oct. 15, followed by Brad Paisley on Sunday, Oct. 17. The free evening concerts are funded by part of the $15 million that BP PLC gave to Alabama to help promote tourism and offset the summer season-wrecking Gulf oil spill. "It’s been phenomenal and overwhelming," said Sarah Kuzma of Meyer Real Estate in Gulf Shores. "The locals are renting like crazy. This is a shot-in-the-arm for a weekend in October that is not typically booked."
