Two of my dearest friends came into town this week for a visit, with their 4-year-old daughter (who I've adopted as my niece.)
In the day & 1/2 I got to spend with them, I've totally converted my niece into a Jovifan.
It all started when her dad was being a jerk so I started blasting (and singing along with) HAND. She started trying to sing along (using the mic for the wii) and trying to play along with David on my keyboard! (So cute, definite good way to calm me down!)
So, I've got a picture of the Daily Motivation picture of David playing piano that says "Mom said: practice practice practice" (etc) sitting on my keyboard music stand beside the books. She'd knocked it down at one point & I told her she had to put it back because David helps me remember to practice. So the next day, her cousin was here & did the same thing. Her cousin was more concerned about picking up the music books, but my niece knew what was important and told her "Don't forget David. Auntie would be sad if David was gone next time she has to practice." LMAO! (imagine that, a 4-year-old who not only listens, but takes it to heart!) Although, I think she's got a thing for David - she couldn't care less about the other guy's names, but she knows just who David is! (Watch out, Elena! You've got some very cute competition now! LOL)
