My Aunt Gert was on the front page of the Bangor Daily News (one of the local papers here in Maine) a week ago Firday. Go to bangordailynews.com ane type the name of the article Old Town Teacher uses her battle with breast cancer as lesson for students in the search engine on the hone page of the web site.
She is doing fine and still has her very good sence of humor.

The 17 year breast cancer survior mentioned in the artilce is my Aunt Betty. My Aunt Janet passed away in 2001 after a long hard fought battle with breat cancer. I ment to mention that when I first posted this but forgot to.

My Aunt Gert is now cancer free,she finished cancer trement last month. Her hair is coming back salt and peper colored. Just saw her last weekend and she is doing fine.  Will see her again once school gets out for the summee and we go see the WWE live in Bangor,Maine. |
